Sorry Biffy Clyro fans. Health complaints within the band has seem them postpone their upcoming Australian visit.
“Unfortunately, it is the case that both Simon and James require minor medical procedures, for conditions that whilst not yet serious, will become debilitating if not attended to. It has become apparent that the only window that these operations can take place, will be in the same period that we were planning to perform in Australia and New Zealand,” the band’s crew explained in a statement.
The band plans to announce new dates for sometime around May. They add that this will hopefully include shows in more cities than Sydney and Melbourne, so perhaps there’s a silver lining there after all. You can hold on to your tickets for the rescheduled shows or receive a refund from your point of purchase. Unfortunately these refunds will only be offered for the headline shows, so if you hoped to see the band at Pyramid Rock you’re out of luck!
