If you’re going to do something, you might as well do something right. That’s the philosophy of Scott Spark, a Brisbane based singer-songwriter who’s just released his cheekily named debut album Fail Like You Mean It.
The quirky album sees Scott wax lyrical about shift-work, strategies for outsmarting death, wanderlust at Christmas-time, and much more. It features guest appearances from a who’s who of the Aussie music industry including Washington, Regurgitator’s Seja Vogel, and Adele Pickvance from The Go-Betweens. Listen and you’ll also hear the strains of a toy piano, which Scott just happens to be giving away. Just join his mailing list before the tour begins and you’ll be in with a chance.
Speaking of that tour, Scott will play the following shows along the East Coast to celebrate the album’s September 3 release. You can also catch him supporting Washington around the traps, so make sure you get there early if you’re attending those shows!
30 September 2010 – The Toff in Town, Melbourne
7 October 2010 – The Vanguard, Sydney
8 October 2010 – The Zoo, Brisbane
