James Blunt Heading Back to Australia

After visiting our shores on promotional duty recently, it was only a matter of time before James Blunt announced a proper tour. He’ll be here in May to spruik his brand new album Some Kind of Trouble.

I’m not sure what kind of trouble the sweet British singer would ever find himself in, but I guess we might find out when he wings his way around the country. He’ll make stops at some lovely intimate venues in most capital cities.

Tickets for the following shows go on sale on December 3.

James Blunt Heads Back to Oz

British softie James Blunt is heading back to Australia in May to support his second album All the Lost Souls.

James was a big hit when he played here in 2006, selling out every single Australian show. This time the venues will be bigger, but fans can still expect to enjoy plenty of hits and James’ trademark English charm.

As you can imagine, since his last shows sold out these tickets probably won’t last. If you missed out last time, make sure it doesn’t happen again by nabbing yours when they go on sale at 9 am on Friday 15 February.

Fellas, if you forget Valentine’s Day a pair of these tickets could probably help smooth things over.

James Blunt will play the following Aussie venues.

2 May 2008 – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
3 May 2008 – Entertainment Centre, Sydney
4 May 2008 – Royal Theatre, Canberra
6 May 2008 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
7 May 2008 – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
9 May 2008 – Challenge Stadium, Perth

James Blunt Plans Aussie Stay

He’s got the number one album in the country at the moment, and James Blunt is heading to Australia to say thank you!

His second album, All The Lost Souls, wasted no time making an impression with a number one debut this week.

James Blunt will be in Australia to promote his new record (not that he needs to!) from October 13 to 19.

“I am so excited to be returning to Australia,” he said in a recent press release. “I have a lot of friends over there and this will be my chance to thank everyone for their phenomenal support.”

Most of James’ time will be taken up with media obligations, but he will perform for his Sydney fans on October 18. If you want to be there make sure you listen to Nova radio for your chance to win the tickets!
