See Virtual Slow Chase Show to Celebrate Single Release

Australian-UK collaboration Slow Chase are showing plenty of swagger with their new single “Exorcism.” It’s a down and dirty slice of blues which marks a return to form for the band which haven’t released anything since their 2012 debut EP.

Slow Chase will celebrate the October 13 single release with a live YouTube show at 9pm AEST before hitting the road for a string of dates.

17 October 2014 – Musicman Megastore, Bendigo
18 October 2014 – The Loft, Warrnambool
25 October 2014 – Crown & Anchor, Adelaide
31 October 2014 – Ding Dong Lounge, Melbourne
14 November 2014 – Barwon Club Hotel, Geelong
20 November 2014 – Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney

Slow Chase Sizzles with “Algernon”

Slow Chase deliver a tune with enough swagger to impress The Stones with their new single “Algernon.” It’s a sexy, dirty rock number that raises my expectations for the band’s forthcoming EP Blind Spot. I love the way it channels 70s rock sounds with its sing-along hooks and bluesy groove.

If you love the song make sure you head to Slow Chase’s website for your free download.

Slow Chase Readies Venomous Debut EP

Melbourne band Slow Chase is preparing to assault your eardrums with the upcoming release of their debut EP Venom. I’ve heard the debut single “You’ll Never See Me,” which will hit radio next week, and I’m pretty impressed.

The rollicking blues-tinged track has such a big, dirty sound, so I was surprised to hear the band has just two members. Adam Gresty takes care of the vocals and guitars, while drummer Emily Shaw drives the tunes along. Drumming is a bit of a boys club, so I’m thrilled to hear Emily rocking out!

If you love the song and want to own it, just head to the band’s website. They’re generously giving the MP3 of “You’ll Never See Me” away to anyone who clicks the button on the music page!
